Portland Winter Lights Festival 2019
Cymatic Chambers
For the 2019 Portland Winter Lights Festival I collaborated with Classical Revolution, a 501(c)(3)to create custom VJ compositions and live cymatics.
I worked wiyth 4 different groups over the course of 3 evenings.
Feb 7th - The Broken Trio
Feb 8th - Rose City Trombones and Portlandia Brass
Feb 9th - Linda Bergman and Martin Ellis
Capturing the musicians sound and feeding it into my cymatics rig I incorporated live cymatics in to the projection.
Compositions featured recordings and stills of cymatics, marbling painting, various chemical baths, clay paintings, etc...
